Tropical Island Themed Patio
Privately commissioned to transform this patio into a tropical island paradise, I enhanced the existing fountain with mosaic, volcanic stone, and colored glass. Installed misters with light create a volcano effect.
The mosaic (detail below) is made of cast and fused glass, glass tiles, and colored sand.

The Doheny Beach Pedestrian Bridge
Dana Point, CA
The pedestrian bridge and southern gateway to Dana Point officially opened in May of 2009 with a celebration attended by more than 200 spectators. Dana Point mayor Lisa Bartlett gave a brief speech before the city council gathered for a ribbon cutting. Dana Point artists Lubica Selecka and Lance Jost were on hand for the unveiling of four mosaics that decorate the inside walls of the pedestrian bridge.
The Mary Ellen Thomas Memorial Fountain

On Monday, December 5, 2011, the Mary Ellen Thomas Memorial Fountain was unveiled and dedicated in Dana Point. Commissioned and funded by the City of Dana Point, along with the estate of longtime resident and artist, Mary Ellen Thomas, this beautiful and illuminating (at night) fountain was created by Landscape Architect, Yvonne English and Artist, Lance Jost, and will serve as a landmark in our seaside community for years to come.
